SLC: Loose Ends

We have a suggestion or two for SLC visitors.  Summer and Fall  are great times to visit the many outdoor festivals and craft fairs.  Although held in July and August, SLC has a great outdoor concert series every Thursday in Pioneer Park.  You can catch amazing bands such as Explosions in the Sky and Ghostland Observatory.  The best thing about it, it’s free!  The Greek Festival is held at Trinity Cathedral during September 8- 11.  Such great food and music!  Fall is also a great time for pumpkin patches and mazes.

I love spending time at the Salt Lake City Public Library.  I have had good luck and bad luck with parking but the library is easily accessed by the light rail line. Architecturally  speaking, it is really unique.  I grab a tea and hang out to read or study.

This doesn't do the building any justice.

Take a peak next door to Washington Park where you might find a flea market or craft fair going on.

Next, I walk over to Night Flight Comics to pick up my favorite monthly series’  The Walking Dead and Fables.
We encourage exploration of all of Salt Lake City County.  Be creative about it.  Go forth!

The BEST holidays
